I have to leave a review for City Skills because I am so grateful for what they have enabled me to learn over the past year! Not only has it benefitted my career, but I have relayed everything back to my organisation and as a result it has benefitted them too. I have to owe this all to Jim, who was a brilliant tutor. His lessons were consistent, clear, and especially engaging which I think is the most important thing for online learning. I really felt like he was willing to support us too, as you could email him with any questions at any time, or speak to him after lessons, and he would immediately respond with great advice. It is thanks to him and everything he has taught us, including how to academically succeed with CIPD, that I feel really pleased with my assignment’s results. He is an HR expert and really encouraged my passion for HR to grow in the past year. Thank you Jim!!!

The course material was well thought out and delivered, my Tutor was really helpful and went out of his way to help in anyway he could.
Doing this apprenticeship not only did I gain extensive knowledge in a large variety of topics but my confidence as a professional in my organisation grew more than I could have ever expected.

The course has been very informative, the lectures have been held in a very interesting and engaging way, allowing great working time with peers. Enabling HR colleagues all at different levels of their career to come together and continue to professionalise the industry. Existing knowledge has been enhanced and given the confidence to trust what you are doing is correct within your workplace. Enhancing your skillset and allowing you to learn and understand many theories that can be applied in your day to day work. Although a lot of hard work, probably more than I ever thought, Jim has made it very enjoyable and his insights have been great. His knowledge of the subject shone through.

I had a fantastic journey with City Skills. My CIPD level 3 lectures were very interactive and informative. My tutor Louise has been amazing thorough the whole course, she has been very supportive – I will miss her a lot. The whole team was always checking on me and when I had queries they responded within 24 hours.

I thoroughly enjoyed being part of one of City Skills L3 HR Support apprenticeship cohorts. When I started the apprenticeship I was very new to HR and the world of work. The course taught me the fundamentals to HR and helped develop my confidence. I had an excellent teacher in Louise, and I’m very grateful for all of her support. I would highly recommend City Skills as an apprenticeship provider.

Tess was such a positive person to have supporting me on my journey. Tess provided very good constructive feedback on my assignments and in sessions helped me understand how I would get through my work being really honest with what I still needed to do, Tess really gave me the confidence that I could do it.

I started my Level 5 apprenticeship with City Skills just a few months ago and have had an entirely positive experience so far! The sessions are informative, well-delivered, and very relevant to my role. The staff are all approachable and supportive, especially my Development Coach. I look forward to my sessions and would recommend City Skills as an apprenticeship provider.

My apprenticeship is really good, my tutor Sarah was so supportive and informative. Help was readily available whenever I needed it.

The Education and Training was top notch and I couldn’t fault it.

As this is my first education I’m receiving in UK I would like to say massive thank you to Louise Satchell, she was delivering my online sessions for my level 3 HR. Her explanation methods are brilliant and she delivered sessions with such enthusiastic approach. I’m absolutely 100% sure when I will finish my level 3 I will do level 5 as well and I’m sure I will want Louise to deliver my sessions again. Thank you so much Louise you are amazing:)

Jim is brilliant at his job, his lesson were engaging, well paced and made it easy to feel relaxed and focus on the work at hand.

He also goes above and beyond his role, he always has time for his students and makes sure he can help you out with the assignments at hand.

Louise has been an amazing teacher and development coach. She has delivered the course, ensuring we always have an understanding of the learning outcomes and standards taught throughout. She has been contactable and supportive when submitting post session tasks and has always provided great detailed feedback.

I did my Level 3 Learning and Development Practitioner apprenticeship through city skills, and the support from both Louise and Tess was amazing throughout!

I had Tess Wells as my tutor for the first part of my Level 5 L&D Apprenticeship, and she was incredible. Really engaging and enthusiastic, she brought the topics to life and was incredibly approachable if I was ever stuck on anything. I really rate City Skills as a provider for their clear communication and management of my Apprenticeship, and they have made the experience a really easy and enjoyable process.

Tess has been amazing and I have enjoyed her lessons and support in my first few months of my apprenticeship, her delivery of our lessons were great, she was clear, well paced and made the lessons interactive. I loved her support in between the OTJ and she was happy to go through things on my portfolio I was unsure with.

Currently on lesson 5 of BA L3 with ANTHONY HARI – the course itself is amazing and ram packed with really useful information and resources. I love that I can access a lessons presentation before hand to make quicker notes, this enable lessons to run smoother.
Anthony is a great tutor even when differences in opinions occur, he does deal with them professionally and finds a best outcome. He has provided us with advised us where needed and given detailed explanations on everything so far, can’t fault him.

I am really enjoying my apprenticeship with City Skills, my tutor, Jim Blythe is absolutely fantastic. He is thorough and flexible, taking the time to ensure everyone feels comfortable with the content during and at the end of each session.
