City Skills are without doubt a phenomenal apprenticeship provider. With an ever-growing number of Fusion apprentices benefitting from the quality and depth of learning available from City Skills, we will no doubt remain a loyal customer for years to come.
The programmes and approach to learning are both engaging and value-adding for both apprentices and employers alike. If you are looking for a new provider then look no further!

We have one apprentice with City Skills and they work hard to keep the apprentice on track and keep me informed with the progress. I am the lead for apprenticeships, so it is my job to make sure they are performing well and step in if they are not. City Skills has made this seamless for me to do so.

Our relationship with City Skills began around 12 months ago, when I began my own apprenticeship. Since then, we have enrolled 4 more apprentices across a variety of courses.
We have chosen to use City Skills for these courses because of their dedication to learner & employer experience. We have only ever received great communication and service. Being invited regularly to attend forums for sharing ideas, suggestions and updates.
I would highly recommend City Skills to any employer.

I am really enjoying my apprenticeship with City Skills, my tutor, Jim Blythe is absolutely fantastic. He is thorough and flexible, taking the time to ensure everyone feels comfortable with the content during and at the end of each session.

When I started, I was a Technical Advisor, and my apprenticeship helped me build the confidence, skills, and behaviours needed to grow professionally.
I am now a Manager, and I continue to use many of the tools and techniques I learned during my apprenticeship in my day to day role.
Thank you so much for your passion and enthusiasm in every session. Your support, guidance, and encouragement have played a significant part in my development and success.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with City Skills. The courses, lessons and tutorials were all excellent. Sarah the tutor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend City Skills and if the opportunity presented itself I would definitely study with City Skills again.

I have to leave a review for City Skills because I am so grateful for what they have enabled me to learn over the past year! Not only has it benefitted my career, but I have relayed everything back to my organisation and as a result it has benefitted them too. I have to owe this all to Jim, who was a brilliant tutor. His lessons were consistent, clear, and especially engaging which I think is the most important thing for online learning. I really felt like he was willing to support us too, as you could email him with any questions at any time, or speak to him after lessons, and he would immediately respond with great advice. It is thanks to him and everything he has taught us, including how to academically succeed with CIPD, that I feel really pleased with my assignment’s results. He is an HR expert and really encouraged my passion for HR to grow in the past year. Thank you Jim!!!

I highly recommend City Skills’ Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship. The course structure and resources were excellent, classes were engaging and interesting. My Development Coach was knowledgeable, accessible and very supportive. Thank you City Skills.

I started my Level 5 apprenticeship with City Skills just a few months ago and have had an entirely positive experience so far! The sessions are informative, well-delivered, and very relevant to my role. The staff are all approachable and supportive, especially my Development Coach. I look forward to my sessions and would recommend City Skills as an apprenticeship provider.

I had Tess Wells as my tutor for the first part of my Level 5 L&D Apprenticeship, and she was incredible. Really engaging and enthusiastic, she brought the topics to life and was incredibly approachable if I was ever stuck on anything. I really rate City Skills as a provider for their clear communication and management of my Apprenticeship, and they have made the experience a really easy and enjoyable process.

I would like to leave a review on Louise Satchell.
Louise has been an amazing teacher and development coach. She has delivered the course, ensuring we always have an understanding of the learning outcomes and standards taught throughout. She has been contactable and supportive when submitting post session tasks and has always provided great detailed feedback.
Louise has had a massive impact on me enjoying the course and i look forward to completing a level 5 with you in the future.

Jim is brilliant at his job, his lesson were engaging, well paced and made it easy to feel relaxed and focus on the work at hand.
He also goes above and beyond his role, he always has time for his students and makes sure he can help you out with the assignments at hand.
It was pleasuring learning under Jim, all the best for the future!

The course has been great throughout, from the classroom sessions to the assignments. I want to give a special mention to Sarah Balchin my tutor who has been so helpful, professionally and personally. Sarah always offered support, with being autistic, balancing work, study and being a mum, this was invaluable to me. Thank you Sarah, you taught me so much.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on this course, my tutor Anthony Hari has made it especially enjoyable for me. He has always been supportive and always has time for his students even with a busy schedule, he goes above and beyond for them. I cannot thank him enough!

My apprenticeship is really good, my tutor Sarah was so supportive and informative. Help was readily available whenever I needed it.
The Education and Training was top notch and I couldn’t fault it.

The course material was well thought out and delivered, my Tutor was really helpful and went out of his way to help in anyway he could.
Doing this apprenticeship not only did I gain extensive knowledge in a large variety of topics but my confidence as a professional in my organisation grew more than I could have ever expected.

Tess has been amazing and I have enjoyed her lessons and support in my first few months of my apprenticeship, her delivery of our lessons were great, she was clear, well paced and made the lessons interactive. I loved her support in between the OTJ and she was happy to go through things on my portfolio I was unsure with.

Thank you to Sarah Balchin my coach for my CIPD level 3 in HR.
Throughout each topic, Sarah made it feel easy and explained everything throughout.
Feedback – given generously with given points and explained what could be better (to help me, which helped)
Catch ups and reviews also were there to help and address any issues or problems.
I always enjoyed my time with Sarah, easy to talk to, helpful and friendly but also straight to the point.
Sarah was also there to answer any queries on email and helped generously throughout.
Sarah was also very supportive during a health issue and did everything she could to support and advise.
I have enjoyed my course and I thank Sarah, Danielle and Gary (assessors) and City Skills.
Thank you all so much.

As this is my first education I’m receiving in UK I would like to say massive thank you to Louise Satchell, she was delivering my online sessions for my level 3 HR. Her explanation methods are brilliant and she delivered sessions with such enthusiastic approach. I’m absolutely 100% sure when I will finish my level 3 I will do level 5 as well and I’m sure I will want Louise to deliver my sessions again. Thank you so much Louise you are amazing:)

I have recently completed my level 3 learning and development practitioner apprenticeship. I have felt very supported by my learning coach throughout, the programme and the EPA. The opportunity to learn with people from other organisations was great. It allowed me to see how others experience their roles. I would highly recommend learning with City Skills.

I found this course to be quite challenging at times, I had a great tutor, Anthony Hari, who really listened, gave great feedback and helped me complete this. Can’t have asked for a better tutor.
Highly recommend this course, really glad to have had this opportunity.

I really enjoyed studying CIPD Level 3 at City Skills. My teacher Sarah was very attentive and informative. I believe this apprenticeship has improved my understanding of HR and had a very positive impact on my work

Thank you so much to Sarah at City Skills for all of her help and support throughout my apprenticeship! It wasn’t always easy, but thanks to her I achieved 90% in my Consultative Project and 100% in my Professional Discussion, amounting to an overall distinction. I am so pleased with my result and can’t wait to begin my level 5 CIPD qualification with City Skills.

Anthony has been brilliant in helping me prepare and plan for my end point assessment and ensured I was ready to complete my presentation and professional discussion. Thanks to his help, I was thrilled to achieve a Distinction in my apprenticeship!

I had a fantastic journey with City Skills. My CIPD level 3 lectures were very interactive and informative. My tutor Louise has been amazing thorough the whole course, she has been very supportive – I will miss her a lot. The whole team was always checking on me and when I had queries they responded within 24 hours.

Tess was such a positive person to have supporting me on my journey. Tess provided very good constructive feedback on my assignments and in sessions helped me understand how I would get through my work being really honest with what I still needed to do, Tess really gave me the confidence that I could do it.

I have just finished my L5 CIPD People Professional Apprenticeship with City Skills and was awarded a distinction!
