The My Details section provides a central place to view and manage your personal information, apprenticeship details, employer information, and key programme data.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to access your details, review important apprenticeship information, update personal details where permitted, and request changes when needed.

1️⃣ Access My Details
Scroll approximately halfway down your Student Dashboard and click the person icon to open the My Details section.
This area contains the key information held about you and your apprenticeship.
2️⃣ View your information
The My Details section displays important information relating to your apprenticeship journey.
This may include:
- Your name and contact details
- Email address and telephone number
- Home address details
- Your apprenticeship programme
- Programme start date
- Employer information
- Your assigned Development Coach
📋 Regularly reviewing your details helps ensure City Skills can communicate with you effectively throughout your apprenticeship.
3️⃣ Update your details
If any of your personal information changes during your apprenticeship, it is important that your records remain accurate.
Depending on your permissions, you may be able to:
- Update contact details
- Change address information
- Update telephone numbers
- Amend other personal information
⚠️ Some fields may be locked for compliance reasons and can only be updated by City Skills staff.
4️⃣ Check your apprenticeship progress
Depending on your programme and dashboard configuration, the My Details section may also display key apprenticeship information and milestones.
This can include:
- Programme start date
- Planned end date
- Gateway information
- Current apprenticeship status
- Assigned Development Coach
📈 Keeping track of key milestones can help you stay focused and prepare for important stages of your apprenticeship journey.
5️⃣ Request support if information is incorrect
If you notice any incorrect information in the My Details section, it is important to get it corrected as soon as possible.
This could include:
- Incorrect contact information
- Incorrect employer details
- Wrong programme information
- Missing Development Coach assignments
- Incorrect apprenticeship dates
📞 Contact your Development Coach or the City Skills support team if any information needs updating and you are unable to change it yourself.
