📚 Accessing Course & Learning Materials
There are a few simple ways to access your course materials in My Portfolio. This guide will show you where to find them, how to work through tasks, and where to check your feedback once you’ve submitted.

In this guide, you’ll learn the three main ways to access your learning materials, how to complete different task types, and how to review your submissions and feedback.

🧭 Ways to access your course materials
1️⃣ Method 1: Via Student Dashboard
- Click Student Dashboard
- Go to the Overview tab
- Access your course through My Courses or Recommended Next Steps
- Click Start Course to open your learning materials, including toolkits, supporting documents, and videos
- Move through the lessons using the Next and Back buttons, or click into specific sections on the right
2️⃣ Method 2: Via Groups
- Click Groups
- Select your learning group or cohort
- Click the Course tab to access your materials
3️⃣ Method 3: Via Courses
- Click on the Courses section
- Find and open your course
This area may also include CPD options, so make sure you select the correct course.
🛠 Working through course tasks
📂 For file upload tasks
- Read the task instructions carefully
- Check the assessment criteria so you know what is expected
- Download any required documents
- Prepare your response
- Upload your file by selecting it or dragging it into the upload area
- Click Finish Module to submit
✍️ For question tasks
- Read the student guidance to understand what to include
- Check the assessment criteria before you start
- Type your answers directly into the response box
- Click Finish Module to submit
🚫 Important: Your responses must be your own work. Do not submit AI-generated answers from tools such as ChatGPT unless your tutor or Development Coach has clearly told you this is allowed.
✅ Reviewing your submissions
- Go to Student Dashboard
- Click the Submissions tab
- Select View Details to see your feedback and criteria results
ℹ️ Helpful to know: Your Development Coach will guide you through your lessons and let you know what to prepare between sessions, so always keep an eye on their instructions and feedback.
